How do you portray absence? In my project ‘In the void of absence’, I investigate this. How to portray absence, void and emptiness.

My project explores the relationship between life and death through photographs portraying the shroud of grief covering up everyday objects and places. In the last year, I have lost close relatives. I process these deaths through my photography as well as thinking about how people deal with death and the importance of talking about loss.
